The Wolfson Foundation is a charity awarding grants to support and promote excellence in the fields of science and medicine, the arts and humanities, education and health and disability. Grants are generally given for capital infrastructure (new build, refurbishment and equipment).
Last financial year they awarded £549,000 to the North East, across 14 grants.
The next deadline is 1st July 2018. In the first instance, the Foundation prefers that applicants do not request a specific amount but, rather, provide the total cost of the project and the amount that still needs to be raised.
